  11. <p>   Clothing: Fall and winter clothing is needed from about
  12. September through April; spring and summer clothing is useful
  13. the rest of the year.

  15. <p>   Health: Good medical facilities are available. Living
  16. conditions are generally excellent, with no unusual health
  17. hazards.

  19. <p>   Telecommunications: London and nearly all U.K. localities
  20. have an automatic dial-through telephone system. Cities in the
  21. United States and Western Europe also may be reached by
  22. direct-dialing. Internal and international services are
  23. efficient. London is five time zones ahead of eastern standard
  24. time.

  26. <p>   Transportation: The United Kingdom is a crossroads for
  27. international aviation and shipping and also is accessible by
  28. highway and train from points throughout Europe. Rail, air, and
  29. bus transportation in the United Kingdom is excellent, and
  30. travel between all points is quick and easy. Rental cars are
  31. available. Traffic moves on the left.
